Altaussee lies in the Styrian Salzkammergut, right on the lake of the same name and at the foot of the Loser – our home mountain, with slopes for families, beginners and ambitious skiers. The Snow & Mountain Sports ski school and ski rental are right on site, just a few steps from the slopes.

Getting Here
Altaussee is easy to reach by car via the Styrian Salzkammergut. The easiest way to plan your route is directly on the map – just enter your starting point.
By car: take the B145 (Salzkammergut road) to Bad Aussee, continue to Altaussee and follow the signs for “Loser” to the valley station. Parking is available right at the valley station. If you have any questions about getting here, we are happy to help you in person.
